I think I’ve said that before… But really, for a newborn, almost any drive is worth it… And this one was no exception.
Originally this mom and dad had planned on driving down here from Washington within the baby’s first 2 weeks. As the delivery got closer, mom contacted me and asked if I’d be willing to travel up there instead. We got all the details worked out and I was on my way.
Baby A was sooooo easy at first to work with. We went from pose to pose and she slept through everything for atleast 2 hours. Then…. dad had to go back to work. He got ready and walked back in before he left with a football and helmet in hand. He told me that he didn’t care what other shots I got, as long as I got a shot with his Aggies football gear. No pressure, right?!? So this is when that sweet little baby decided to make me work. I guess that’s what I get for telling dad that it was going to be tough since I was a BYU alumni – BIG RIVALS! haha… It took us about 45 minutes to get the shot, but i’m pretty sure dad is happy…. and so am I!
Thanks for such a fabulous session!
Daddy’s shot….
This guy made it way too easy on me. He just went with the flow and was up for whatever.
Thanks for a great shoot! Enjoy your sneak peak!

I like the settings for these pictures. They all look good.
Jordon–all were good but I think #2 is my favorite. It seems impossible you are a senior–savor each moment, time passes so quickly.

So Allison and I were college roomates almost 15 years ago. We were like sisters! When I was asked by another family to travel up to Washington to take newborn pics, I was so excited to find out that Allison lived only a few minutes away from that family! I went up and stayed at her house and catching up was like we were never apart. We stayed up late chatting, laughing and just enjoying each others company for the short time we had together.
It was my pleasure to be able to take photos of her cute little family while I was there.
I miss ya Alli! Can’t wait to come back up!
Yay! I’m so in love with them! Thanks again for everything!
Hey!!!! I know this girl. These turned out so good!!!!
What a gorgeous family Amanda. Love the way you capture the subjects in your sessions.
You are very talented! I’m not sure how I came across your blog, but I’m sure glad I did. Check me out at stacidphotography.blogspot.com. I have a long ways to go, but have been having fun learning. How do you get your pictures to stay the same size???Should be simple. Even when I change the size and resolution, they still go big….if you get a minute, mind sharing a tip? THANKS!
Great session – that first image is so impressive – the texture and clothing – poses – everything just works so perfectly! I’m sure this family is thrilled with these.
That’s a cuuuute family. Those boys are adorable and I love what you did with them.
Oh gosh…how cute are they?!? Beautiful!
It’s newborn art I tell ya, every single one of these.
These are beautiful! Love the first shot especially. I love the way you get the newborns that you shoot to be so “moldable” and squishy.
Thanks for sharing!
