just wanted to leave you all with a big smile before I headed off for a week….I know you’ll miss me…. and all my bloggin’, but I’m hoping this will hold you all over till I return from my trip to sunny California!

She was so tiny and sweet and slept like a rock. I usually spend a bit of time trying to get the baby into a heavy sleep so that I can really work with them. During this time, I usually try to get some open-eyed photos in…. These are always Grandma’s favorite. Well… Sweet little E wouldn’t even open her eyes for us… not one bit!
E’s daddy is an OB/GYN so I really wanted at least one photograph with his hands…

We had a great 4th, even though the firework show was canceled this year. Kind of a sad story, but it could’ve been much worse!

We hung out with friends and instead of heading over to watch the display, we went home and had a tiny little firework show of our own. It was actually just right for our kids
(fyi… this is what a shot looks like at 6400iso completely unedited – yup- lazy!)
