Last week when I took Layla out for her 11 month pictures, I decided to take Bella along as well since I hadn’t taken photos of her in her new glasses yet. She really does look so cute in them and I’ve been wanting to show her off. Then… Haley reminded me that I hadn’t taken any pictures of her with her braces yet… she got them put on last November! So… they both joined me for the ride and we had a little girls night together…

I’ve been reminded several times by my friend Laura that I haven’t shared the rest of Gwen’s newborn photos. My life is pretty crazy right now and I am sooo behind on blogging that it’s getting pretty out of control. I’ve already photographed over 35 newborns this year and I have at least a dozen of those to still blog! If you havent’ seen your baby yet, I promise, the pictures are coming!
With Gwen, we got so many beautiful photos that I decided to share them in two parts just to give me more time to edit through them. If you’d like to see part one, you can find them HERE
as for part 2, the beautiful photos are here:

Oh Amanda, she is beautiful! Your work is just breathtaking on her. (And I hear ya! I am so far behind as well – it is what it is, we can’t feel guilty – we are busy mamas & busy photographers! xo)
Yay! I’ve been so excited to see the ones you got my baby girl!!! LOVE them Amanda. Thanks again for shooting these with me. It was so much fun!!!
WOW!!! You are amazing, and so good with the babies. Beautiful everytime.
What a sweet session this was! I absolutely loved meeting his momma and getting to snuggle with him for a few hours. He was so handsome and such a perfect little model.
Being in a military town, I know that this happens a ton, infact I’ve photographed many babies that share a similar story. BUT when I saw Nolan’s mom post this picture on Facebook, I really wanted to share it with the world. I wanted to share their story and the story of so many others. The story of families that sacrifice so much to keep you and I safe. I knew I had to share sweet Nolan’s little story and am thankful that his mom allowed me to do so. He came into this world a few weeks ago while his daddy was serving for the USAF in the middle east… half a world away. His grandma was in town to help with the delivery but they had plans of skyping dad in so he could be part of the delivery. Mom’s delivery went so fast that as Nolan was being born she was asking her mom to hurry up and call Nolan’s dad. Nolan came out so quickly that as dad answered the first thing he heard was Nolan’s first little cries. What a sweet sound that must’ve been.
Mom gave me permission to share their first photo together (taken by Nolan’s grandma)This photo of a Soldier meeting his baby for the first time via skype has got to put a smile on your face! Look at that proud daddy’s grin!!!
(IMAGE REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS)
Nolan’s mom had let me know that her and her whole family had watched my Framed episode and everyone wanted to know if we were going to get “the pose”… Well, I after I heard that, I HAD to give it a try! Nolan made it so easy on us. Later that night I decided to upload a sneak peak to facebook so that mom could share our succes with the rest of the family….
After mom saw the pic she sent me the sweetest email that brought tears to my eyes:
“Hi Amanda!
I was so excited when I logged into my e-mail earlier to write “thank you” to you and found your e-mail with the sneak-peek! Oh my goodness! I can’t express enough how in love I am with the shot of Nolan- it is perfect! I called my husband on the other side of the world at two o’clock in the morning his time to have him look too. Thank you for capturing “Nolan” perfectly for him to see. I know it made him so happy and excited to see the sneak-peak!!
Thank you for this morning! I enjoyed spending the morning with you . It was fascinating to sit back and watch! You took such great care with Nolan. I can hardly wait to see all the great shots you got!!
Thank you Thank you!!
Tina”
I’m such a lucky girl to be able to do what a LOVE! And hearing things like this makes even that much more sweet! I was honored that I was able to be part of this soldier meeting his baby. It made me truly grateful that I had taken the time to take detail shots of sweet Nolan…
And then, like I said, he was the perfect model and we got so many more beautiful photos!
Thank you again for letting me be part of capturing such a special time for you! It was such a pleasure!!
