When I got the email from the babies’ father, it said that he was looking for a photographer to photograph his newborn Triblings – a term that they were using to call their 3 babies. 2 babies – or twins, in one surrogate, and one other baby – gestationally the same age and genetically their biological brother, was in a second surrogate. How cool is that!? The twins were born 6 days before their little (BIG) brother, so they don’t all share the same birthday, but I’m sure all will grow up with a special bond much like those of other triplet siblings. Amazing for sure!
For all of my newborn sessions, I try to plan ahead what poses I will do and what props, blankets and accessories I will use. When planning for a “multiples” session, I try to prepare to create images of each newborn individually and then of course several with the babies together. With triplets, you’re somewhat limited on what poses you can attempt of them all together and this session was particularly challenging as all the babies were so very different in size! The twins were just over 5lbs and just over 6lbs and their brother, who was born 6 days later, was over 8lbs!! That is a huge difference when talking about newborns! We did manage to get some great images of all of them and had such a great time doing it!
It was such a fun session, getting to hang out with these 3 incredible babies and their loving dads.
This little guy was just handsome as can be! I loved getting to spend the afternoon with him and his mom, dad, and grandma who came all the way from India to meet him!
Do you remember this sweet little guy from THIS POST? He was such a doll and came all the way to see me from South Carolina! Well gues what, he came back to see me and his 6 month photoshoot went just as well as his newborn one! You wouldn’t think that a baby that beautiful could get any cuter, but I guess anything is possible! He truly is one of the sweetest, happiest, most beautiful little babies that I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with! I LOVE this little guy! His momma calls him GIANT BABY. It really kind of fits 😉 . And the best news… he’s moved to the west coast which is still not super close, but a whole lot closer!
Can’t wait to see you again!
